To me if life boils down to one thing it’s movement. To live is to keep moving.

– Jerry Seinfeld

Shannon Leutzinger // Art Director + Senior Graphic Designer

Sitting still isn’t my strong suit. Movement is. At its core, movement becomes transformation. That’s my passion. Whether that transformation comes from professional development, personal growth, or physical activity, I pursue movement in all forms. I love to keep learning new things and to search for challenges. I seek opportunities that allow me to push beyond what I’m already doing and dive into what’s next.

Reaching the awesome height of four feet, eleven inches, I earned my nickname Tiny Might from a co-worker, because for someone so small, I do a mighty big job. The nickname encapsulates my can-do personality. If a project requires a new skill set the team hasn’t worked on before, toss me in and I’ll figure it out. If a deadline requires a late night, I’m not afraid of burning the midnight oil. If project creative assets aren’t organized, I’m right there with a file folder structure and naming system that will make it easy for everyone to find. I’m all about details.

I am a balance of left-brain and right-brain thinking, making it difficult to pick which part of a project is my favorite: concept development, directing, designing, or figuring out how to build it. As a result, I like to see projects from concept to completion. However, I also do well on team projects where I’m involved from the beginning or jump in later during development. No matter my position on the job, it’s rewarding to see a project come to life and deliver results.

I hold an M.A. in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art and Design and a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Auburn University. I have completed a variety of professional experiences, including agency and in-house roles, freelance opportunities, and volunteer projects. I’ve held lead designer positions, worked directly with the creative director to develop campaign concepts, provided feedback and direction to a team of designers, and directed designers to implement campaign deliverables.
